I am a huge fan of your comics and have recently discovered your online postings. I learned of your works through my uncle who gave me a copy of your book, “The Wizard of ID: Long Live The King”. I still have it, yet sadly over the years, with my siblings having read it, too, it’s begun to fall apart.
One day a few months ago, home from college and bored, I went looking through my shelf and found ‘Long Live The King’. Ah what a joyous moment, as I knew I would be in for some good laughs and witty jokes.
After I was done, I wondered whatever became of the company that created this book of wonders that kept me company as a child and now, again as an adult, so I searched the web and discovered you were still in business. Such delight I felt!
However, I am sorry to have learned of the sad passings of dear Johnny Hart and Brant Parker. Rest In Peace. Yet here it is, my old favorite become anew! I have since caught up from the first post back in October 2007 to now. It took me a while but it was worth every panel. I always have a tab open, awaiting the next strip to start off my day 🙂
Glad to have found you again,
