It dawned on me that this symbolized the tearing of the vail in the Temple on Good Friday. A picture is worth a thousand words!

Thank you, this is what makes the Comics so wonderful!

Thank you for the profound Good Friday “message without words” in B.C.. Jesus yielded up his spirit and the curtain secluding the Holiest Place in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” Matthew 27:50-51. That picture embodies the Easter story of God making a way through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection for us to have personal access to God and eternal life.
Thank you. Rending of the Veil. What a blessing. Thank you.

The veil divinely torn from top to bottom–clear bibliical precision, not to mention the symbolic chiaroscuro interplay between light and dark– symbolically rich. A picture worth a thousand words of a priceless gift of God reconciling to man for all who believe in faith.
It’s the parting of the veil on Good Friday…. No worries, I didn’t get it, either! lol Mason likes to write an occasional religious (Christian) themed strip to honor my Dad, (his ‘Pops’!) around Easter
What is the comment on the upper right corner…? I can read Jesus but everything after that isn’t clear against the dark background…
Thank you and God Bless…
“Good Friday”
Is it Gaza or the crucifixion?
Apologies but I dont understand this. Perhaps it is best explained by an American, I’m in Australia.
You spilled something on your etch-a-sketch. right?
Why was the B.C. comic strip for March 29 taken down. Please re-post it.
LOL!!!!!!
Most everyone at Go Comics is confused. Something to do with Good Friday is all we can gather.
Because Good Friday?
The curtain was torn?
Jesus died…but this is B.C.
?
We give up.
I don’t get this cartoon. Explain.
The Veil of the temple. Well done my friends. Happy Easter.
So glad it was printed. (Just barely made it Before Christ..)
Fabulous! (So glad I’m in the 4% who will get it…)
Amen.
When I realized what I was looking at, all I could do was cry. Very powerful. Thanks to Hart Studios for this Good Friday offering.
Well done. God bles.s.
Thank you for your recognition and representation of the true meaning of Good Friday and Easter. May God bless your work.
