If I want politics, I read the front page of the newspaper. By the time I get to the comics I am tired of division politics and want to read something funny to escape the front page madness. I guess I have one less strip to read. I gave up late night TV for the same reason— it used to be funny, now not so much. I ‘m sorry that B.C. has taken this turn. I have read it since early on.
