Well Kenny…I hadn’t thought of donuts before but guess what I am now planning to pick up later.
As for the other questions: Yes, Will, people do still leave the house. Even with all the online shopping there is something about the insanity of Black Friday that keeps the mobs coming. Like a really strong Full Super Moon, driving reasonable people to do mob mentality craziness.
And Iggy – Did they *really* have legit sales before or have they always just used loss leaders and discounted things that they had overpriced to begin with? 😉

I went out at midnight to see back when it was a big deal, people watching and looked at all the stuff on sale.. after a while (3am or so) when to get something to eat, the ONLY place open there was Jack In The Box. Two guys working, seems the boss hadn’t thought about Black Friday, we went in and watched the show. Lots & lots of cars and a full parking lot!
I’d have gone out to see if the show was still going on last night if I’d thought of it…
