How thoughtful and appropriate. Such empathy and acknowledgement from both sides of the fence.
I was born in the Spring of ’45…. at the end of WWII. I have been forever grateful for all of our current military members and our veterans.
THANK YOU ALL!

Pitties are awesomely empathetic. Mine have been furry angels. My current Shepherd-Terrier mix is my Guardian Angel. Keeps me from getting too far in my head, makes sure I get out and about, brings joy to my life.
Here is also to all the Military Working Dogs. They too bear the scars and sacrifice, willing to give their all for their partners (handlers). I always love seeing the storiea where they can be reunited and retire together to enjoy some well deserved peace.

Thanks, Lee for reminding me of the military dogs too.
The real win-win programs are the ones that bring puppies to prisons and assign each prisoner their own puppy. From there, the prisoners are enrolled in a course on how to train their puppy to become a comfort dog or helper dog for Veterans returning home with scars that can’t always be seen.
