The only reason you didn’t sink, is you wanted it too much, Will! See, snow is Zen or Dao. Huskies can traverse the top, or plunge into its depths, whichever best suits the situation…for they are at one with the snow.
Pitties are forceful, determined, and try to exert their will…thus the snow will not bear their weight when they wish to traverse, nor allow them to delve smoothly into its depths when they so desire.
Huskies also know to look for or avoid the icy/solid packed patches. 😉

Kind of noticed that all three strips have snow and jumping into it as the common theme for today (1/8/23).
