Will, even in his own community, has to deal with the preconceived notions about Pit Bulls – not that he doesn’t, occasionally, nurture those notions. Now, if *Tucker* had pitched it, the others may have paused, as he is a known tech nerd.
If Kenny pitched it…well, most would bring snacks as they will be sure it will some off the wall, wacky competition. His adventures when just *reading* are legendary. Put that reality breaking imagination toward oming up with a fighting competition…on second thought, the other dogs would probably freak out thinking they were about to be in the middle of WWIII, complete with tanks and air attacks.

You nailed it, Lee! Mick got the idea for the comic strip from volunteering at a shelter in Orlando. There WAS a kennel ‘C’ there and the dogs were all a bit ‘misfit’!
