This comic strip episode makes me think of a strip I loved reading back in 1984 – a comic strip called “Dick and Jane,” which I have deeply missed for years. Unlike the primary readers, though, it wasn’t drawn realistically; it was drawn in childlike fashion. Cartoonist Chuck Roth also went with a pure, simplistic approach, which I greatly admired.
